The 2018 Gatsby Tea & Fashion Show is presented in partnership by Tahoe Heritage Foundation (Pope-Baldwin Estates) and Valhalla Tahoe (Heller Estate).

We encourage all visitors to participate in all activities throughout the historic site during the Gatsby Festival Weekend Sat & Sun August 11th & 12th 10 am - 4 pm; with our kick-off Jazz Concert being held at Valhalla Tahoe Boathouse Theatre! 

Both Tahoe Heritage Foundation and Valhalla Tahoe are non-profit 501(c)(3) organizations with joint missions of assisting the Forest Service, Lake Tahoe Basin Management Unit in preserving and restoring the three estates on the Tallac Historic Site; through the development of the site as a historic center offering both Interpretive Programs and Tours as well as producing the Valhalla Arts & Music Festival, all three estates are also listed on the National Registry of Historic Sites.

All ticket sales are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, your ticket purchase price may be transferred to alternate attendees or may be used as a donation to the Tahoe Heritage Foundation and Valhalla Tahoe.

A Gatsby Festival Time-honored Tradition!

Transport yourself to another time when life seemed a lot simpler. Experience this lovely tradition in the relaxing and gorgeous ambiance of ‘tea on the lawn’ at the Heller Estate (Valhalla Grand Hall Lawn) with the sounds of summer and the blue of  Lake Tahoe around you, while you and your friends  enjoy delicious finger sandwiches, scones with jam, and mini pastries served on lovely three-tiered platters. Try selected teas served by maids and butlers (volunteers). Prohibition was everywhere in the 1920’s so Shhhh…trade your tea out for some champagne! Yesteryear Sierra, Cherie Oliver, will present authentic vintage fashions to honor our 2018 theme "Love at the Lake"!

The Afternoon Tea menu cannot be altered for special dietary requests.
